Reminds me of fish & chip spots back in the Midwest I had been craving this style of food for awhile definitely hit the spot with great prices Unapologetic_t_eats IG brought me here! Service was amazing and friendly and the ambiance was cozy small hole in the wall

I've been going to this local Mom & Pop restaurant for many years and figured it was due for a review. My last visit was on 12/06/24. Normally the restaurant opens at 11:00 a.m. but they opened the door about 10 minutes early- myself and my friend are usually the first customers but when my friend told me they opened early by the line (at least 5+ customers before us) I ordered my usual "15 piece shrimp and fries" for $12.99 (I asked to substitute onion rings for the fries- which was honored at no additional charge) but I also ordered a piece of fish for $3.99. Everything I ordered and ate was as usual very very good along with good portions- plus the ambience of the restaurant and most importantly smiles of the owners and their excellent customer service provided to their customers. And my friend ordered his usual "No. 2 Box" which was just as good as mine. Please support your local small businesses. I'll/We'll be back soon!

My family and I order here all the time for as long as I can remember when we're craving some fish and chips! The owners are really sweet and the inside is quite small and gives off a kind of oldies comforting vibe. The fish are always hot and crispy and the tartar sauce it comes with is delicious! The fries aren't super salty either! I definitely recommend trying this place out it certainly feels like a hidden gem to me.

Fellow travelers, this may not be near the water or have great parking or be in the most prestige area, but these are some great fish and chips. I got the 1 fish and 2 shrimp combo (does not include drink) and I loved it. Probably could have fed 2 women. I loved the shrimp they were in a ring and huge! The fish was also a thcik and long peice. My only gripe is that they take cash only and the soda was flat. Definitely a place to try.

I've been wanting to try fish and chips again after having it in London and came across this place. The location was kind of in a sketchy area but there was plenty of parking in the lot. Inside it felt like a hole in the wall/mom and pops business. They take cash only so make sure you bring cash beforehand. I ordered the Englanddale which came with 2 fish and French fries. I was surprised how affordable it was and how big the fish were. The fish was really good, had a nice batter and crispy. The French fries were just okay, I would've preferred them thick cut.

Absolutely love this fish here! When we are in town on a day that they are open, we always stop by to get their fish and egg roll. The egg roll is my favorite, it's a plain cabbage egg roll with a few pieces of pork and fried in a thick wrapper - so basic but oh so good. The fish is huge, good quality, and everything is always fried to perfection. I like their jumbo shrimp as well but the size is not always consistent (when it's actually jumbo, the shrimp bite is delicious). The family that owns this place is super friendly and we always receive great service. Not much ambiance as it's a small place with a couple of tables. If you decide to try it, call ahead to limit your wait time since it's all made to order.

No gimmicks just good ole school fish and chips place! The couple that runs this place are very friendly and been in operation for years! Not only their prices are fair and reasonable but they also have huge portions. This place is located in a small plaza next to donut place. It can get busy but just be patience and you'll find parking. The place has limited seats so it's best for you to take out and enjoy the food at home! Besides fish and chips, their wings are also great! Not the tiny wings but full chicken wings!!! Highly recommend.

Deliciousssss food!! Glad I found this spot months ago randomly by searching on yelp for fish and chips. Place is cash only and extremely reasonable prices. Location is a hole in the wall hidden between a donut shop and a 7-11. The fish jumbo shrimp and scallops are delicous! So flavorful and filling it's hard to finish because you get a great portion size. Had the coleslaw for the first time today and that was one of the best coleslaws I have ever gotten. You will not regret going here for lunch or dinner!

I went here because I wanted to try what the locals liked and enjoyed for years. Don't judge this hole in the wall, they got the bites to back it up. They're not kidding about the portions. The Asian couple owners were nice and smiling every time I talked to them, even though they were closing in 15 minutes (sorry! I was hungry). The fish were humongous and piping hot! Look at my pics, it was long as my bo'oh'o'wa'er. The menu ain't lying when they said prime fish fillet and they fry it on the spot. It took around 8 minutes of wait time. If you're used to minced fish sticks or typical swai whitefish fillets, this will blow your mind. They use whole cod fillets cut horizontally here. The beer batter is golden crispy and the succulent fillet tastes like fresh hot pure protein. It's not fancy nor gourmet, but if you fancy a bag of fish 'n chips, this place is where you go. I really enjoyed these big fried fish, which somewhat puts chicken tenders to shame. Their tartar sauce isn't too tarty unlike store-bought; it tastes like mayo + relish. This actually compliments the malt vinegar well. Some tartar sauces are too acidic already and adding malt vinegar makes everything too sour, masking flavor in return. I recommend you add some malt to your fish then dip the tartar after ~ perfect balance. If they had some Asian salt/pepper mix, it'd be perfect. Three giant fish fillets and some fries for $13 after tax? I'm not gonna be picky, this is considered cheap in 2024. The chips are like McDonald's fries without the beef fat element. They're crispy but not much to them, still enjoyable nonetheless. If you like value and prefer a less pretentious place, or if you just like beer battered fish, this is the place.
